went on my normal forum rounds and saw this when i went to sincityrcrc.com/boards :?

anyone else?

Steer clear of that one! I'd be willing to bet it'll try to do bad things to your computer

yeah he the the server we're hosted on, every site they host is the same now. they're working on it but as far as i know we still don't have a clear ETA as to when it will be back up.

He's hacked one of the forums I frequent twice now.. Second time around the site owner got a swift kick from the member-base to update the forum software and it hasn't happened since. ;)

If he's up to the same devious stuff it shouldn't harm your computer, but you shouldn't always count on it... There were no viruses or malware planted onto the website I visited and you could still get around it using the forum's URLs. We just had to avoid the main page and type in the direct URL for each forum section and use the jump feature at the bottom of the page when going to a different section (or retype the URL..).

he hit me a few years ago on a site i built for someone, if its the same deal then hes not even hacking. just a lazy shit that gets into your config file and farks with it.

let me guess ..... php website?

found a way in. all you have to do is go directly to a specific forum. use the forum jump function to go from one forum to another, don't click on the link to the main index.
