wow. so this guy broke his back doin motocross, and is paralyzed.... but gets right on a bike because god herself wont keep him from what he loves? thats really fawking inspirational. what a champ that guy is. |

Yes it was supermoto, I believe he high sided and landed on his head breaking his neck.

Yes i bielieve it happened in supermoto he did however take a jump ar rhe end of his mx days and did some damage to his back if i remember properly he over jumped a down hill and wrecked pretty good i think that was his last mx eventhe was hurt for a long time i could be wrong

I've met Doug, he's a great guy, maybe a bit goofy. We met at a party down the road from his house. My buddy and I had our quads with us, and when Doug found out, we had to go for a ride. We made a couple laps on his practice course before it got too dark. I think it was the following year he had his big crash. I haven't seen him since, but it was such a shame it happened to the best guy. I'm so glad to hear he's doing so well
