I loved how the FMJ rounds made shrapnel flowers

man i could watch that for hours, one of our paintbal customers used high speed to analize their paintball markers performance that was amazing as well. what was the part when the bullet was getting hit by another round bullet, around 2:23, seems timing that would be quite the job.

Yeah, that threw me too.. Looked almost like a paintball to me, but who knows.. Hitting a speeding bullet with anything.... the odds have to be in the billions even if you've done the math... One of the coolest vids I've ever seen though for sure!!!

At first I thought it was a liquid hitting the bullet. Like they were shooting through a water spray or something. But then watching some of the smaller particles, it definately looks solid, especially the way it damages the jacket. I'm thinking they shot twice side by side and only a millisecond or so apart and the second projectiles is being hit by shrapnel from the first impact on the steel plate. Watch closely at some of the smaller particles tumbling, they definately look solid and hard enough and fast enough to damage the jacket.

I'm willing to bet it did start to yaw a litte bit. You are only seeing a few inches of it's flight.

Those are solid pellets being liquified by the impact. Watch the bigger rounds when they contact something that stops them. They do the same thing, but not to the same degree. Try 1:46 & 6:19.

i was taling about this shot, yellow line represents the projection of where the little "bullet " is comming from, is not inline with any debre of a shot in front of this shot, it comes from the side.

I'm wondering if those pellets aren't from a shotgun shell. Odds are that if you fired a bullet into a shotgun blast, you're bound to get a collision.
