Default Bruiser roller value $$$?

I am thinking about trading my clod crawler for a bruiser roller. I have about $700 tied up in my clod. Just wondering what this bruiser roller is worth.

Doesn't look very complete.

Do you want it for a crawler? They are really only good for scale fun.

No, I want it to restore to an original bruiser. What does it look like it's missing?

the front driveline is gone too. if you were building a crawler, then i would say to slap a pede tranny into it, but since you are restoring it to original condition, i would pass on it. just my .02

I know that it is missing the obvious things like the body, and all the electronics.

It has shocks on the front axle. The tranny, that is what I was most concerned with. I know that it does not have the typical bruiser 3 speed in it. Can anyone tell what tranny is in it? Back to my original question, does anyone know what the bruiser roller is worth as-is?

ide say its only worth about 300-350'ish range

i would also pass, since you claim you clod is worth about $700 you should be able to get a complete original bruiser and start from there.

get one off ebay. better money spent in my opinion. trans looks like its a tamiya srb (sand scorcher, rough rider, f-150, super champ). i put one in my hilux way back in the day when i grenaded my three speed also. didnt work too well from what i remember.

Default Bruiser

Coming from somone that has owned and still does own bruiser trucks id say 300 tops, the body is going to be the most exspensive part, the cabs alone are going for 50+ on ebay with nothing else, sure you can pick up repro grills, windshields lights and buckets but you still gotta find an interior and all that adds up, then ya have to get a bed as well o and some nerf bars for the cab as well. The original tranny was a 3 speed, 2 hi, 2 med, 4 low, and on average range from 50-150.00 depending on condition/use etc. drive shaft for the front will run you about 30$ give or take. Id wanna know what condition the axles are in, the front is famous for having alot of slop in it fromt he pins and knuckles wearing, not to mention the ends off the inner axle are commonly broken off. rear shocks and mounts is gonna be another 30 or so. and the original bumpers and brackets are all missing, thats definitely going to add up because they are oftened the 1st thing to get destroyed.Radio box will cost you and arm and a leg now a days, i have scene the lid on the top go for 30$ recently. to top it all off the rims looks like they were repainted silver.

who ever said thats an engle tranny is WRONG thats definitely no engle tranny looks like some POS stadium truck half fast fitted into it and they even drilled some extra holes on the crossmember.

If your looking to restore it, its going to be alot of work, if your going to crawl it then 300 or so is a good price, but dont trade your clod if its worth 700.00. Sell your clod on ebay and buy a complete bruiser off ebay.

Well I actually did a little better. He had 2 bruisers and I traded him for his other one that is more complete. Here are some pics.

How did I do on this one 1badjeepbruiser? Can you maybe put a worth on this one. He is including all of the original shocks with it too.

Default better

Now thats much better looking, most of the missing body parts(IE lights/buckets, windshield) are available in repros, bruiserbuilder.com makes a really nice super clear windshield, scale hobbies makes head light buckets and there are people on ebay that make the lenses and turn signal buckets. now all you really need is a radio box, interior, shocks and some other small things here and there, not to bad.
