Nope, a silver locket..... Lets just say I get to "hunt for treasure" for the next few days........ I came home and she said, "Daddy! Mommy is trying to look for the heart out of my butt!"

The joys of being a daddy! It looks big in the X-Ray though I think you might know when it.....makes it's return!

I know it's not really funny but....................................
Better you than me.
Luckily my daughter never did something like that. Now she's old enough that if she does, she can look for it.

Ah, its funny. Jess called me at work all freaked out. I told her not to worry about it, thats all they would do at the hospital anyway. She called back in 10 minutes saying that she called the pediatric clinic and they told her to go to the hospital.....kinda wondering why she asked me what to do in the first place.

Oh dear god! Hope she isn't in too much pain when she "gets rid" of it.

My son use to have a thing for dimes(he actually did it twice). We didn't go looking for them(did see them as they passed, but didn't retrieve them). Good luck in your quest though

Unfortunately the locket is worth more than $0.10. That and its big enough that we need to make sure it doesn't stay in there.

Reminds me of the part from Grumpy Old Men:
Grandpa: Relax. Kids swallow quarters all the time.
Melanie: Really?
Grandpa: Sure. If she craps out two dimes and a nickel, then you can start worrying.

I'm sure things will work out OK for her. When my daughter was about three yrs old, she stuck a huge palstic bead up her nose, it took my wife and my older son all they had to hold her down so I could extricate the damn thing, kids will do the craziest things.
