yea integey was out of the 55t too. so i saw that they have 65 turn and like a 35 turn or something so i ordered two 65 turns .(one for the tlt and one for the hummer.) very quick shipping , especially considering the time of the year. i ordered on wed and it got here on friday.
so far i only had time to try it out on the hummer and it works great.my runtime went from like 10 mins max on 1500mah to 25 mins on a not totally charged battery. one thing that bugs me is the motors both seems to make like a clicking sound. in forward and reverse. does anyone know if thats normal for lathe?, no other motor ive had makes that sound.
to break them in i hooked up a deadish battery pack and let it run for like 5 mins.
but yea i would try the 65 turn motor.(unless the clicking sound mine make is bad lol)

Is there a big change from the 55t to the 65t? Most of everyone here uses a 55t but there has been talk about 65t motors now......

i just tried the 65 turn in my tlt which had 12t pinion and 96t spur with a multiplex 600 motor which was perfect. well with the 65 turn it was unbelievably slow. but it did have enough torque to bust the shock cap off in an bind. lol. now i have to figure out the right gearing for this slow beast. it was going like 2mph full throttle. it was so slow i thought maybe i put in a dead pack but nope.
it seems like the motors mostly make the clicking sound in reverse.
so far im not sure how i like it ill report back if i can find the right gears around somewhere.

I don't know why people fret over nobody having them. WIND YOUR OWN,it's SOOOOOO easy it's pathetic and cheaper to boot. Get the wire at Radio Shack for a few bux and spend about 25 or 30 minutes in front of the T.V. and you can have ANY turn you want . Theres a couple threads in the elec. forums that tell you step by step and it's VERY easy. Just follow the steps. I've wound a 45t,55t,60t,65t,70t and 80t and probly got $30 in wire in all of them.

I currently run the 65t and like it the best with my set up now
