Default Finally put some woofers in the Eclipse

I've had two brand new Audiobahn AW1200Qs sitting around for the better part of two years. Today I finally got tired of them taking up space so I finally built an enclosure for them.

Here's the end result

I could have mounted them the conventional way, but since they have dual voice coils, I figured I'd mount them like this so that I could re-wire them at will.

Sometime tomorrow I'll install the amp.

Shaddayap you!

If I wanted to add performance I'd have grabbed some Type R badges, installed undercar neon, a gullwing door kid, and added about 30lbs of vinyl to it. Since yellow vinyl has been proven to be the most potent out of all the vinyl power adders, well....it'd be hard not to use it. I just don't think I'm ready for quite that much horsepower yet.

But seriously.

I know...they don't add performance. But when you take a 3 hour road trip and have the pleasure of listening to the drone of the exhaust for the entire trip you start wondering why you own such a car. Then you get on it, the turbo spools, and you don't care about the exhaust.

Kinda like the 440 that was in my old GTX

The MDF silences the interior noise from the exhuast a bit, but when I turn it up I don't hear the exhaust at all.
