i think they should of measured from the last part of the truck to touch and not the 1st. i mean if the front tire touched at 301 ft that means the back of the truck was under 300.

idk, cool none the less.

That doesn't make since?:? So in drag racing should it be the back tire to? Should the back tire be the starting point of the jump to? All long jumps are the first part to touch.

in long jumping your not seeing who gets there 1st your seeing how far you jumped. you can not say you jumped 301 if the whole truck didn't clear 301.

nice jump he made it look like a 30 foot jump. the motor sounded bad arse to boot. i would love to have that motor setting in my garage to shove into something. ax ex nascar SB2 motor would be the perfect street rod motor 800 hp and able to hold 9k rpm all day where is the down side to that?

I guarantee monster had Greaves break the record first because of Pastrana's jump. Travis's jump was supposed to break the record.

Impressive...but I don't think there is much skill there. Thats more like hold it to the floor and see how far it goes. The landing was really forgiving. If the gap was 250 instead of 100 yeah that'd be awesome. The Pastrana jump...wow thats insane. What he is jumping is 10 time more risky. Not a lot of room for error.

Ryan Capes still is the man in my book. When Evil Kenievel calls you the King of distance jumping...well thats just crazy.

Don't get me wrong gotta give the guy props it takes a lot of balls but the risk just isn't there.

When Ryan Capes broke 200 he was over 65 foot high. I think that was the height record at the time.
