Nice post link... I love seeing the ODDBALL vehicles take some well painted glory. I tend to dig the MUTT looking vehicles like the fiberglassed rear body land cruiser or the chopped body Tuared that has the rear lowered. cool stuff

I want one of the support trucks as a camper. Definately not Renault. Too French for me.

I think those hummers are with Team dakar usa Hummer That Robbie Gordon is driving. I think he will be a contender this year. There is more info on the team here http://www.robbygordon.com/cms/publi...icle_579.shtml

yeah, Robbie's "Hummers" are really SCORE trophy trucks with H3 bodies tacked on. When I heard they were entering H3's in the Dakar this year I had to but a trophy truck will at least finish.

My favorites are the T4 trucks (the giant MAN and KAMAZ trucks that shouldn't be able to go anywhere near where they go, and end up towing half the field home)

It's not on Speed Channel this year, is it?

I wouldn't mind taking one of these for a ride:

Funny, I was watching history channel at the time I saw this pic, and the narrator mentioned teddy roosevelt. The freud in me, heard "Titty Roosevelt"
