Well when I got it had a 306 with 351W heads. Dropped a valve seat & beat the hell out of a piston and took a chunk out of the drivers side head.

I bought a 302 out of a 94GT (120k) from a local yard & swapped over the intake, carb, cam, & some valvetrain. Its a FRP F303 cam, that specs out @ .512 lift & around 224* (a decent size cam for a fairly stock 302). Its basically the same set up minus the .30 over block & heads.

At some point Im probably gonna try and find a set of GT40's or AFR 165's...

Thanks, by the way, i wouldnt waste your time or money with afr 165's if you plan on doing any more work to the motor... 185's would work good on a stock bottom end and would support more mods later...

Yeah well Im trying to keep it fairly mild because its my driver. Remember Im considering 40's too, and they def arent any 185. I would settle for 165's. If I got a hold of 185's Id want to bump up the cam and change to a single plane. I know you can ride around with a 750 & a victor jr but I dont really want that drive for DD.

Besides, its got a little giggle juice should the need arise. I figure with some tire it should go some 12's NA & get into the 11's via spray. Some one step better than stock heads are really what Im looking for with that kinda combo for a DD.

Thanks for the looks & you guys have some nice rides!
