Default well I pulled the trigger.

well after a year of wanting a new truck i finaly did it. two weeks ago I sold two trucks I had, payed down some bills and started looking for a new truck. Well here it is in its stock form. Team Carnage Crews's new chase/tow rig. 2006 dodge ram 2500 mega cam with the ho cummins and six speed. Going to try to get some Hummer h2 wheels tomorrow for it and find some 35x12.5x17 tire. Then got word today I might be picking up a box of suspension parts from my friend tim(desertbull) sanchez while I am at KOH. I also have a new 4" ats muffler sitting here for it. The plan is to somday get the carli chase truck suspension on it with the 35's and build some bumpers and a chase rack. Can't wait for the summer wheeling trips.

Last pick is my inspiration it was built by sage owner of carli suspension.

Sweet ride man.

My dad just bought a new Mega cab 3500 dually. Amazing how much cab room is in those. I'm quite pleased with my X cab longbed 2500,but wouldn't mind a mega cab someday.

Sounds like to got a good list of parts coming. I'm gonna be putting a small lift on mine in the morning.

Yea, I swear those have more leg room in the back than they do in the front

well had the truck a whole 24 hours. AND

I already took the sawsall to it Since it already has 4" exhaust all the way from the turbo back and I had a 4" stainless ATS muffler i figured what the hell lets cut it up. Took out the stock muffler and resonator and welded in the ATS muffler it has a cat also but i don't think i will mes with it. I sounds good now a little bit deeper tone but not so loud as to bother you on a road trip. Got slowrockr working on getting me an air in take, bought some chrome plated stock H2 wheels today and also talked to the desertbull and he has some 35x12.50x17 BFG KM2 tires sitting in his garage that he is bringing to KOH for me.

We went to lunch in the Carnage chase rig today and I tore the crotch of my jeans getting in the damn thing and it ain't even lifted yet!! I guess my jeans are used to the low riding Toyota stance and couldn't handle the elevated entry required for the Big Dawg!!

Aaron your truck killed my pants!

Haven't had allot of time to work on CHASE 1 but did get it leveled out in the front slowrockr put in all new ball joints and got some 35" bfg km2 tires mounted up on some chrome H2 wheels. Also have a FASS 150 lift pump and filters sitting hear for it just have to find the time to get it installed.

Nice rig! Gotta love Cummins diesels. Did you have to machine the center bore of the H2's to fit your hubs? I know for my body style (2001) that's what's required.

My buddy bought a Mega cab exactly like yours (but 2WD) and he loves it. That backseat legroom is reDONKulous. I make do with just a quad cab, but I love it just the same. I bet that muffler didn't make yours obnoxiously loud, either. Mine got even louder with my 4" setup, but most of the noise is actually the motor, not the exhaust. Sometimes I wish I'd gotten a truck with 3 pedals. That trans rebuild was not cheap on mine.

I like what you have planned and look forward to some updates. I'd like a mild pre-runner look for mine, too. I'm just planning a leveling kit and 35's, most likely. Anyway, congrats on the truck!

Have you looked into KORE for the suspension? Rumor is they are in cahoots with Dode working on a Raptor equivalent for the Ram 1500... and KORE already makes some sick stuff for the HD model Rams.
