Default When Traxxas says Water Resistant They Mean It

If you look closely in the picture you will notice my Mini Revo sunk in about 2 feet of water. There is a concrete bridge over this creek that I was using for some speed runs. Apparently I hit a rock or something because it skipped twice and sank.

I snapped a pic and fished it out. I took the body off and disconnected the battery. By the time I got home about 10 minutes later and plugged things back up it worked fine.

I thought I had just toasted an almost $300 RC truck. Whew!

yea traxxas definitely means water proof when they say it. leaving it under too long might drain your batteries but it wont ruin your electronics. i would still go through and thoroughly wd40 things to keep the water from rusting parts like bearings.

Yea, the Traxxas waterproof stuff is no joke, I ran my E-Revo all last winter in the snow and through water and such later without an issue!

Yeah for sure. Here is vid of my emaxx....right after the "waterproof" emaxx came out. I just had to push it to the limit.
It ended up dying at the end of the run because a piece of sand floating in the water caught a brush a broke it. Now I use outerwears on all my brushed motors that will see water.
