| need any input
so about 3 weeks ago my girlfriend broke up with me you could say i loved her but alot of adults would say i dont know what im talking about since im only 16 years old. anyway the point is that i want to forget about her but im finding it extremely hard to. now when im occupied doing something im fine but when i start to think about things i start missing her, i also have a class with her so during that whole class i do nothing but think about her. i know some of you guys on here must have gone through this before so im just looking for any advice to get her out of my mind thanks all |

Well, you are young and there will be more girls out there. You basically need to avoid as much contact as possible. Ask your teacher to move your seat if you sit close to her. Walk a different way to class. The less you see her the easier it will be. This worked for ME, will it work for you? I dont know. Another thing is to try to come to terms with it. Finding "closure" if you will. Good luck! |

3 months isnt enough time to determine if you love someone. (Thats the my adult speach, lol). In the meantime, I say avoid contact unless she initiates it. Then if you still have feelings for her see if it goes anywhere.

1- Skip the prom. In the larger scheme of your life, it's a meaningless event. 2- You invested time and emotion into a relationship with her. Treat it like any other investment; some pay dividends, some don't. 3- I had 3 girlfriends in high school and I couldn't tell you where they are now or who they are married to. 4- There isn't anything that she could do for you that can't be done by a different female. The only thing unique about her was her name. She's probably enjoying that you are hung up on her. |

I had a girlfriend at 15 I "Loved". She was 18. We dated again when I was 20 and she dumped me again. I thought it was the end of the world. I am now 40 and have been married for 13 years and have a 12 year old son. My ex is now divorced for the second or third time with kids from 2 or 3 different guys. You will get over it and find better. My ex told me I deserved better, I wish I could tell her she was right. |

Yeah, dont look at her, walk by her with a blank expression, and if she tries to hug you/walk up to you push your shoulder forward like your trying to avoid hitting another person in the hall. Thats the way i got over my EX, but i sorta ended that one |

Do her sister if she has one or better yet, her mom. Seriously though, a lot of us here have been in your position at your age. As the saying goes, time heals all wounds. In the mean time, do your best to not think about it. You're still young so don't get too serious in a relationship yet. Have fun and play it safe! Now go tell everyone that her junk stinks and she gave you an STD! |
