Default Farewell...

We had to say goodbye to our beloved Greyhound, Magic on Friday. A painful bone tumor in his shoulder had taken it's toll and we had reached the point of not being able to do anymore to ease his pain or comfort him.

He has been part of our family for more than 10 years and was 2 months shy of his 13th birthday.

I cannot say enough about this breed...if you're considering a dog, look into rescued Greyhound adoption, they are simply the most gentle dogs you will ever find.

No more leash...no more fence...roam to your hearts content sweet boy.

I am sorry to hear that:-(

Just remember the good times you had with your friend, and how long he stayed with you and your family

Thank you guys, I really appreciate the thoughts.

My wife is struggling hard with this as well...before we got married and had kids, he was our baby boy. We've been through alot together and it's difficult to not have him with us.

Sorry to hear about your loss bro. Losing a pet sucks. I lost my lab in 2003 and I still think of him nearly daily. Hang in there!
