I am an electrician and worked a a line crew for a while doing phone/cable out in Nebraska,,,the Power guys had a line down and it was laying in a ditch and some guy walked through the ditch a half mile away and was hit hard,,but it didnt kill him...one of the two hot conductors had layed in the water and when the stepped in the wet ditch where he was he closed the crcuit and boom,,it did knock him out of the ditch though which was over 9 feet deep and he landed up outside of the ditch about 20 feet away.
