I'm thinking that the car hasn't really had an alignment since the 90's and that some of that camber was from the car having an old alignment from when it still was at it's full weight and now that they knocked 1000lbs out of it and sitting an inch or three higher.............

If you watch the first "Vette Hack" video, they ultimately increase the negative camber in the rear as the car is lightened (it was rising due to the lack of weight and gained positive camber). It definitely helped settle the car down in the rear....along with a tire pressure reduction.

Without a variety of useful data, we'll not know if the camber (or any other part of the alignment for that matter) was set properly. However, these guys are pretty sharp and even though they're drag racers at heart, they understood the dynamics involved in keeping a flat footprint in the corners.

Anyone who's raced an early C4 Vette knows they're fantastic handling cars (better than later C4s) and getting the back end settled can be a bit of a challenge. They sure are fast, though....but only in the corners.

Far from worthy of the "Most Beautiful Car" thread, but it's a very "Cool Picture" to me.... It's the first time the body has been on the rolling chassis since I've owned it.

JEEZE!!!!!!!! i cant find enough time to put my aluminum bits on my axles,but this guy can build a whole plane with the most ridiculous attention to detail,all out of manila folders.......some guys have all the luck
