No cheese? ...It's a burger between two grilled cheese sandwiches!

Indeed - it does need bacon, though.

I'd put bacon in each sandwich, and bacon on the burger.

whatcha do is take the very top piece of bread and the very bottom and make them a single grilled cheese, then you flip the two pieces that are left so that the cheese is touching the burger, then you consume both sandwiches that you just created.

And it does need bacon.

We have a local place near my house called Mel's Cafe. They have a mega mel's burger.

3 lbs beef
1 lb bacon
1/4 lb cheese
Appropriately sized bun with all the fixens

I had a friend who ate one once, he went to the restroom afterward and all we heard was the toilet screaming for mercy.........

Yeah....but those burgers are FAAAARRRR from a quality burger in terms of taste. You eat one of those for the novelty of it...not for the taste.
