I'm not artist, but am an advanced hobbiest with photoshop. I have played around with the wacom's I setup in the industrial design department and photo studio at work. They are really slick. If I could justify the price for home I'd pick one up, but that is an expensive piece for a non professional. You will love having it, it really opens up what you can make the computer do in graphics apps, well efficiency anyway.

Nice choice on a tablet. I've used a wacom graphire 2 a little bit, but really want one of my own to mess with. I don't do enough art to justify an expensive one, but would like to pick up something small like the wacom bamboo or something similar.

i was lucky enough to get a cheapo tablet when i started school so i got the hang of it from the start... but that cheapo didnt really have any features. it was mostly point and press. this new tablet has a few dozen tips that u can pick up. i had a chance to play with the "airbrush" feature and it was simply amazing... it was almost like i was really airbrushing.

yay for early bday gifts

Which size did you get? And from where, if you don't mind? I am considering getting one, but as mentioned above, not really sure I can justify the price-tag..

Cheers,
Kyle
