My buddy has had that done and ie said it sucked but well worth it. I have only had my knee done after I fell off a load of lumber and I get to go in sept to get the boys trimmed so I don't have to worry about any little ones running around.

I had one surgery when I was 3 on my neck, and then one when I was 8, I had my adnoids taken out. Now I have gallstones and they hurt like m f. Now I'm just waiting on when the date is to get my gallbladder took out. Oh yeah I also Have neck spasms on a regular basis. Them little dickheads hurt worse than any gallstone. Go to the ER spend a week in a neck brace, high on pain killers, can't sit down or stand up on your on and can't turn head for about a month.

| Dong, that sucks bro. The worst thing to happen to me is a broken arm lol. My grandmother had something done to her back and she loved it. She says she felt 'normal' after the operation lol |

You've probably done this already, but make sure all other options are exhausted before you have back surgery. It's a long recovery and success isn't guaranteed. If you go thru with it, don't try to rush the recovery period. |

What Goat said is absolutely correct. But look at it like this, my pops just had a tripple bypass about a month ago. Unbeknown to me at the time, you have to stop the heart briefly during the op. Feel any better? Ahh I tried..... |

All I can say is good luck i have had this done to my neck and my lower back. i have a titanium plate and four screws and they fused it with a cadaver bone in my neck. My lower back L4, L5, L6 are fused i have two six inch rods and six screws and three synthetic spacers that they used to replace the discs with and both surgeries were six months apart. Don't want to scare you but this was the worst thing to have to go thru try every thing you can before you have any surgeries.

I had two ruptured discs in my lower back when I was 27 (five years ago), years of racing moto just took its toll . I did every thing I could to try to get it better spent six months in pain couldn't walk from my bed room to the truck in the drive way with out sitting down to take a break. I finally got the doctor to send me to spinal specialist. Walked in showed him the mri and first thing he asked was did you drive hear? I said yes he said I have never seen one this bad were the person drove him self there. Any way he did surgery a couple days later. I was up and walking around the neighborhood two days later. The hardest part was not doing much of any thing for the 2 months after the surgery even though i felt just fine. It is soar every once in a while but at least I can get up and go to work. I guess it is different for ever one. | |
