Default Driving music!

I'm filling up a couple of SD cards to use in my car and I need a few suggestions from you lot.

So far I got:

Epic-ish Iron Maiden, some Manowar and few other similar randoms in one folder.

7 hours' worth of a friend's psychedelic trance sets (lovin this btw)

A folder of greek songs, I don't think you'd really care

And the two folders that need filling up, the cruising and the fast one.

In the cruising folder I got some '80s and '90s pop and soft rock classics, like Corey Hart, R.E.M., Eric Clapton and so on. Seriously scarcely populated folder this, just 12 songs so far!

In the license-losing folder, AC/DC Thunderstruck, Prodigy, Moby, Metallica - Master of Puppets, Paul Oakenfold, Black Sabbath's Paranoid, Manowar's Wheels of Fire and a couple of Gran Turismo songs (had to!) Not a specific genre, just pump-you-up stuff.

Help me out here, I need some serious cruising and speeding music! Mostly the latter.
No R&B, no Hip Hop, no Nu 'Metal' and NO COUNTRY, I'm european FFS

The radio in my car is broken and not a priority. My rev limiter is 8,200 though, so I do enjoy the engine music

Try Testament-The New Order. Killer album. Cheers!

Not a priority for me either, I'm just trying to get into this music thing to make use of the radio...

Just got an earful of Testament. Nice, but not really suited to fast driving. More like head-banging music, too fast and bangy for driving. Great for the playlist at home

I've always liked the Traveling Wilburys for driving, they've got a rhythm that seems made for the road. I'm not a country music fan either, but "East Bound & Down" always seems to find its way into the cd player...

And Black Clouds and Silver Linings from Dream Theater. Great, looooong songs. Also, the 12 Step Suite compilation.

And Sabbath's Paranoid.

In normal driving mode I can listen to anything.
In license losing mode I usually listen to sirens. It must be some kind of disorder or something.
Actually the audio system cannot cover the 14K of the Mugen ECU.

Guns N' Roses - Paradise City - Best cruising song ever

Rascal Flatts - Life is a Highway - Best general driving song ever

U2 - Where the Streets have no Name - Great for late night highway blasts

Awesome.

Also, Mastodon is sweet. Almost a love/hate depending on the album, but damn good shit either way, and some of it can make bad ass license losing music.

Paranoid is in the fast folder already, had to!
Dream Theater sounds brilliant.

Like it in bits, the occasionally throaty vocals throw it a little..

14k? Revviest car I've ever seen (EG) got up to 11k! B16A Workshop? Crate from Japan? Homebuilt?

How could I have forgotten about Where the streets have no name, that song is brilliant for eating up the miles!
Paradise city already in cruise, Welcome to the jungle already in the fast one
