I'd buy it, won't take much work to straighten the body, the engine problem could be an easy fix as well (depending on what it is).

if the cab and box are solid it is worth that money if the frame is solid which is prob aint than you could get it.... it all depends on how much money you would want to put into it to make it solid and have fun

Mr. Slave.....you sir are an idiot...lol here in the states they are gold!!! but the seller must be nuts if he really thinks that the 22r and some 31's are worth $1000 its still a good buy id buy it, chop off the roof behind the window, and build a tube cage |

sorry but toyotas are overpriced for what they are. esp first gens. first gens are all junk for reasons above. in stock form they are useless off road as well (dont even bother arguing this its just a fact)

| They're obviously worth what the market demands, or they wouldn't be priced so high. If Mr.Slave doesn't buy, someone else will. Check the frame very carefully Thomas....you don't want to buy it if the frame is rusting away. |

i was really wanting to make it a trail truck so i dont care about the comfortable ride like Mr.slave said. i have always liked 80 to 84 toyotas also so this would be awesome.

Seems decent enough to at least make the guy an offer...but I wouldn't low ball him since he says "firm" in the ad. He may have a bit of wiggle room, but probably not much. IMO...I'd hold out and try and find an '85. Last year for front straight axle and first year for fuel injection. Oh, and as far Toyotas being worth it...I almost paid $4000 (without haggle) for an '85 Runner with only 70k miles on 'er and all but the wear parts, in original condition. And it was worth every penny. Last edited by Offroader5; 08-09-2010 at 07:37 PM. |

soooo there is a different 83 that looks like it is a way better condition that the other one, it says 3500 but he changed ti to 2800. http://boise.craigslist.org/cto/1876664757.html i think i might be better off if i get this instead, even though it is almost 3 times more expensive. |
