So with Money Orders you have to have money on site right? How could someone get scammed if they got a Money Order? Anyone been scammed before with a MO? I just had someone tell me that they have gotten scammed with MO's that's why I'm asking.

i have heard of this. people steal the money orders. then they buy something for say 100 bucks from you. but they send you a money order for like 200 bucks. then you get it...call them say they overpaid and they will ask you to just send them back 100 bucks (or the overage). so you do out of honesty. then you go to cash the money and realize it is fake/stolen and you cant get your money so you are out the product as well as the overage you sent them back.

Wow I had never heard of that before. Guess living in a small town I just got to the point of where I just trust people keeping their word.

well it wouldn't matter for me anyways because if someone wants to pay with a MO, i tell them that i have to cash the MO and have money in hand before i ship. and if they over payed i would just get another MO for the difference (after the original was cashed) and ship it with package. easy as that, never get scammed |

That's a great way to do it. 'Cause my wife and I don't do paypal because we have gotten scammed off that before. We've wired the money and never saw what we bought in return. I do everything with cash and MO's. We don't even have credit cards just our bank card. We hate ppl living beyond their means and things like credit cards and loan accounts let more and more people do that.
