Do you mean 6th sense or do you have to sacrifice one of the more important senses to have such a useless power

Some people can hear higher pitched sounds that others cannot. My ex-wife could tell if the speakers to the computer were still on while we were downstairs and the office was upstairs. She would make me go turn them off, saying it was driving her crazy to hear the buzzing coming from them. And every time she sent me up to check, they were still on.

You are probably sensitive to EMF's (electro magnetic fields). If you dont turn them off do you start to feel sick or see ghosts (Ghost Hunters, FTW LOL)?

I read about how our hearing changes as we get older. Children having the best hearing, little kids. I don't think you would be able to hear elec flowing through stuff unless it was crazy high voltage in which case you would hear the buzzing from it. Tube TV's make a noise from the tubes when they are powered up.

"Tree huggers, they have the "6th" sense!"

She'd probably leave them on so she would have an excuse to get you out of the room so she could fart.

Then why do I have to tell my kids 3 or 4 times its time for bed(or my son to put up his crawler)?

Probably the same reason your wife has to ask you 3 or 4 times to take out the garbage.
