My dad said the same thing. He's 61. We've been sharing music lately and he said he had to grow into this one, but he really enjoys it now while he does his art stuff. Give the whole album couple chances, you might like it. If not, but almost, try the newest Bon Iver album. It starts here:

Here's one for you Eeepee, since you're a Chains fan. This band is a side project for Lane Staley with members from Pearl Jam and Screaming Trees. Mike McCready (guitarist for Pearl Jam and Temple of the Dog), Barret Martin (drummer), and John Saunders (blues bassist) started the band and brought Lane on to help him get free from addiction.

I'm a bigger fan of Mad Season than I am of AIC. I have the album on vinyl and on CD. I'll go take a picture of the cool forth side etch on the record.

The drummer is what does it for me. Very good. And Layne is interesting, but he's got/had problems.

Very cool! It's awesome to see bands like that in vinyl. Too bad they only had that one album.
Also very sad about Layne's inability to overcome his addiction.

I saw where the drummer toured with REM for a while.
