| tamiya 4 wheel drive chassis kit...lol
Found this at a local lhs......I figured what the hey,I had a few bucks and wanted to build a cheap kit for s&gs.Paid 22 bucks for it and built it in about 2 hours. It doesnt have a body with it and it runs on 2 aa cells.Similar to a wild willy jr but a lot more involved with more parts. It runs perfectly on top of a pool floater where you can add or decrease air to make it work harder.......lol without bustin diff gears so it allows tires to slip.Im gonna slap a 1/24th model kit truck body on it and call it done.It articulates off 2 thin wires on either side of chassis. cheap fun when your low on ducks:-)The wheels and tires are the coolest part. Think of mini t size mini clod buster deflated:-) |

The link is the kit im referring to.Whats cool is i removed the batt switch and aa holder and made it remote control with long strands of thin wire. Now i can blip the throttle and go in reverse without touching the truck. If i could figure out a way to steer it this would be an ultra cheap crawler. BTW....the xmod evolution hummer body is a perfect fit on it. duct tape works great for covering exosed diffs on underside. |
