| so pissed!
So I finally get my hardware today from Tower Hobbies. I ordered some 3 x 20mm screws and some 3 x 30mm screws. Turns out the 20mm ones were too short.. Ok, no problem. I have the 30mm screws. Well, the 30mm screws don't have threads all the way down the shaft, the first 20mm of it is threaded. And the parts that not threaded isn't 3mm! So now it doesn't fit. I'll either have to figure out a way to drill out my ball ends, or find a tap and die set that'll do 3mm.

i'm pretty sure that du-bro makes a 3mm tap set too. should be able to get that from your LHS. as far as metric hardware goes, metric specialties in burbank california is the best! they do mail order as well. here is the website- http://www.metricspecialties.com |
