Wow, I would kill for gas to be that price again. 10 bucks for almost 10 gallons and only a 25 cent transaction fee haha. That barely gets me over 3 gallons now.

I think it was 1993 when I saw gas hit $1.00 at the gas station I worked at.

And smokes hit $2.00 right around that time too. "I'll quit if they go up to $2.00!!!"

Pffff!

Gas here is still more expensive, prices went up today, 107.6/Liter (for the simple minded: $1.07.6/liter). Out west I'm pretty sure it's more expensive than here.

so if I chime in about seeing gas at .32 a gallon and 3 loafs of bread for a dollar I might be showing my age?? As a young teen I could go to the corner WD get a pack of mule's a soda (16oz) bottle and a candy bar for $1.05 yea the deposit was a nickle for the bottle.

Yeah, I grew up pretty close to that area as well, 69th st and University. I used to ride BMX in the canyon at Rolando Park Elementary all the time with my buddies, man we used to make some crazy jumps in that place.

yep, I feel the same way about it. Still get to visit since my family is out there still which is cool. We would much rather be closer to where your at now though, specifically Durango.

This goes back to when I was a high school kid pumping gas part-time......

We had to start selling gas by the half-gallon because our pumps couldn't accommodate a price greater than 99.9 cents/gallon!!!.
