| Some 1:1 issues.
hey guys, me and my dad been working on the 94 z71 for awhile and few months back we wired up some stuff and blew or melted something in wiring and it caused the radio and the upper headlamps (in the interior) to not function anymore. we decided to save some time and take it up to a shop to have it repaired. and they said it was an easy fix (they fixed it), it wasnt a fuse. but we dont know what it was, well yesterday it happened again while i plugged the CB in the oulted (where you light cigars). it made a weird click noise. like a pen dropping on tile, and the radio and upper headlamps didnt work. even thought they were before i wired it. so i took apart the dash and the wires visually appeared fine, as well as the fuse. any clue? anybody know what im talking about!? help would be greatly appreciated and would save me some time thanks guys and i know this isnt a 1:1 fourm but i thought id give it a try thanks haha Last edited by shadowrejects; 11-22-2010 at 06:25 PM. |

Buy a ford or quit trying to wire stuff together.

There is a fusible link somewhere that is messed up I think but not sure. Just call the shop they should have some type of record of the repair.

looks like this "shop" where you took it to ripped you off. Buy yourself a bike there's no wiring, unless it's a HolmesBike |
