Default Hobby shops in Las Vegas?

So I'm going to Las Vegas for the 2011 Shot Show, and was thinking of buying an Associated SC8e while I'm there to save a couple of dollars on shipping and taxes. (I would save about 300 usd including norwegian taxes, so its worth the hassle of dragging it home.)

What shops should I visit, and should I call ahead to ensure that they have an SC8e in stock? I really don't know what to expect when it comes to american hobby shops, but if they are anything like my local shops, they will never have WHAT you need, WHEN you need it, and they use 2-4 weeks to stock items, I'm staying in vegas for 8 days.

Oh, and will the prices be similar to the prices on online shops?

I don't live in Vegas, but since I haven't seen anyone answer this thread I though I would do a quick search. Looks like there is a Hobby People in Vegas, not far off the freeway. They are a decent Hobby Shop that will occasionally have some good sales on stuff. They usually carry a decent variety of cars, so they might have what you're looking for. Check out their website: http://www.hobbypeople.net/index.php/
Here's that Vegas shop's number if you want to give em a call when you're in town: 702-871-6191

Good Luck!

Might have better luck in the Nevada section as well. They may have the best info.
