Default Are Castle ESC cases weak?

Are castle ESC cases weak? my ESC case cracked some how, but it never had a bad fall.. the stock ESC case took harder tumbles...

My sidewinder would pop open fairly easily, but it was not breaking, just separating the 2 pieces. It would snap right back together. I've since zip tied it shut.

mehh, i hope castle covers it since it was my first ESC from castle and i didnt crash it hard..

I ran mine over with my Toyota once and it held up fine.

how is that possible lol. my castle case cracked from like a 5 inch drop i guess.. my stock ESC is still strong falling from 4feet.. ???

I always dip mine in liquid tape and never can get the case back on all the way . Have never had one break, even & 60 mph crash in my xxxt held up fine.

hmm, do you think i should send it in to castle to get it replaced? or should i keep it since it shoulds like a common issue?

I have been running castle esc's for 3 or 4 years now and have never had one crack...even after opening them up to shorten wires, etc, I still have no problems with them...and I run my comp rigs very hard.

Just do a fix yourself. Nothing is really wrong with it. Couple drops of glue and your good. Or take it out, send it to Castle, pay postage, not have your ESC for a while just to have a new case....

i would fix it.. but are castles reliable enough to not even both with? like the ESC it self is good, but the case is just cracked.. would i have any issues in the future??

You will be fine. I would seal up the crack to keep the moisture out though...
