| Blazin blazer almost done.
When I got this it had been sitting for about 20 years on a body shop shelf. It had about 1/8" of crusty overspray and dust on it. The bumper and tail lights are on there way. Still have to get a driver. Painted it Mica Blue. This was the first time I have ever used the Tamiya paints, I refuse to use anything else now. |

Well of course I got the memo! I was just testing to see if you had gotten it (cough cough). Looks pretty slick. I like the blue a lot. Is it pretty peppy in 3rd? I assume it runs..

About as peppy as a brick can be. I was surprised at how speedy it is, considering the Blazer and Hilux only had the 540 motor. A stock rustler would leave it in the dust though.

If I told you how much I paid for it you would sh!t. I got it from an older guy who obviously had no idea what it was worth. Ignorance is bliss.

The Tamiya paints lay down so nice, I never had to buff it. I'm not a great painter but this thing looks freakin good. It is just easy to work with.

Yeah the Tamiya paint is about the best I have ever used, whether it be R/C cars or static models. Man you are one lucky ba$tard to get a find like that. The best I ever done was a bolink funny car with a LRP speed control, a 12t motor and futaba magnum jr radio for $75. Funny thing,I got it off the manager of a body shop as well. But really man that thing looks sic. ya wanna sell it |
