Default need help w/ attatching music to videos

I've been trying for a while now to try and figure out how to attach music to a video. I've searched on line (google) without much help, just more confused to be honest.

During the editing process, there's a button that says 'add music'. I click it, search through my music files and find a song that I want to use. When I double click the song it will start playing in iTunes. I've tried to copy it to my documents then drag and drop but that doesn't work either!

I'm using Windows Movie Maker for vids, but I just discovered tonight that the Kodak software that came with the Playsport allows me to choose between a .MOV or .AVI file, so I can now format a Kodak HD video into a .AVI file and open it in movie maker.

Thanks for any help.

Add it to the time line, then when i want a song i go on youtube.com get the song i want then go to http://www.youtube-mp3.org/ and copy and paste the youtube URL and then download the song on to the desktop. then where it says import music and audio, i click that and choose the song on my desk top.

movie maker is fast an easy, but the transitions screw up every once in a while...but it's all for fun so...who cares.
I created a folder for my videos to keep them all in one place

once you have laid out the video, add some effects
....remember right click is your friend.

drag and drop some transitions between slides.
once the video is done, drag and drop some music to the
Audio/Music timeline and adjust the 2 volumes...one from the video and
the one from the added music. That way you can still here the crawling
trucks behind the music

have fun ...the camera films great
can't wait to see more!
