ya she was on a vent for about 2 weeks then in hospital and nursing home for 3 months total for some intince rehab for the left side of her body. mainly the leg and she just got to getting around fair and home and this hit.. She is strong I know she will pull thru ok just hate to see her this way. To add to it im 1000 miles away. at least i was there for the stroke tell she went home.. MOving back asap though

I hope for the best--been a couple rough years for us. My mother in law suffered a stoke and now can't walk or barely talk and not the same person I remember.

YA i know what mean about not the same person my seams close but not the same. My dad has good friend before the friend had a stroke best guy you could ask for in a friend since his stroke threw is family away bussiness ect.. a stroke is no good i am very thankfull my mom did not come out that way

WOW thats great. My mom has MS and has been in the ICU since jan 1, they had to put a treach tube in her throat. She died twice, she finally woke up 3 days ago, and is already talking even with the tube in her throat. I understand what you're going through and it's the hardest thing I've ever dealt with. Other family members gave up hope and wanted to turn the machine off, but I kept fighting and praying for her. I hope all goes well with your mom, sounds like she is a fighter. I will keep you in my prayers.
