Default Stocks in RC companies

Well I dont know if this is a good topic to put here or not but has anyone ever tried or thought it would be a great idea to invest in RC4WD and Axial??

I want to bad but dont know how to even do that or if its even possible.

Is it possible?

You can't buy stock in privately owned companies.

Untrue, you can buy stocks in any company willing to sell stocks. Some allow for public sales (Stock markets), private companies can sell to select people. No different than a private company having more than one owner at different levels of ownership.

This was the subject of an article a few years back in one of the magazines.

They made some fantasy investments in a few RC-related stocks and tracked the results.

As I recall, the outcome wasn't very pretty, LOL!
