High times! OK, I give up...I think the stock clod chassis has potential to be modded to make a good crawler. I just dont think enough people have put in enough effort. I dont think it will be competition worthy, like the TXT chassis can be, but for a trail rig I bet you could do ok with it. |

The stock Clod plastic tub is crap... If you want a cheap plastic tub that flexes like a limp noodle then run the stock Clod plastic tub The stock TXT chassis can be used and modded because it's solid and sound(aluminum vs. plastic). |

Mag May isn't too bad, it seems to need to spin faster than a stock 540 to work as well, torque wise. Besides it's only $20. Oh wait, you need two! |

Also, I was the one who reffered MMs to V8s and lathe motors to Diesel motors... Lathe motors are low RPM, crazy high torque, and use less juice. Just like a diesel motor. MMs are high torque, high HP, and average RPM motors that use way more juice than a lathe (diesel) motor. Lathe motors are insanely efficient. I can hook up a computer fan to the motor leads, spin the motor, and it will spin the fan 8O |
