Well, I never realized the thread would go to this extreme, HEHE
The thing that I am not pleased with is that the Alum. Shock top has a plastic insert that fits in the top and the only thing that holds it in is a rubber gasket. When you compress the shock, the top pops out.
All the shocks that I have usually used where full aluminum cap. So, all in all I will not be buying or selling 3 racing products.

BTW Todders is an old nickname. Hell, i am 46 years old.

Look, its 3racing. Some stuff is fine, others not so fine. Most parts across the board are interchangable with aluminum. To be honest, I do not recall a crawler type of shock without an aluminum cap. And all shocks that hold oil will have an o ring in the cap.

Oh yea I agree, but these certain shocks I just dont like cause when they are compressed hard and quick, the top plastic end pops out releasing all the oil and they are brand new. If they were to make the whole cap and end that bolts to the chassis out of aluminum, they would be awesome!
Bad thing is I do not know of an all aluminum out there do U?
