There garbage, I had it on a denali and its only good for paralelle parking, if your going to do any kind of off roading bring extra axle shafts, balljoints, wheel bearing, tie rods...just bring another axle. it's all for show and no go |

I work with a few guys that have trucks like that. They both said it took some getting used to driving with the rear steer engaged.

| A friend had one of those. Something was wrong with the brain and the rear steer would spaz out while driving down the road. Not enough to make you lose control, but enough to make it really interesting to drive.

Don't even consider buying one. I work at a chevy dealer. A customer brought their truck in and needed a steering gear for the rear axle, and I want to say the gear was around $3,500. Just for the part. Don't know if that's changed but that's nut's.

I don't know if they have a lockout feature? We had two newer ones where I work, both had crumpled rear quarters in short order from backing up trailers. |

Plus it was a $5000.00+ option! Drove one when I bought my HD, it was great in those tiny ass ricers parking lot spaces, but that's about it. |

| X2 I am a technician at a GMC dealer. The parts are rediculously expensive and prone to failure. They drive real nice in small spots, but not worth the problems. GM no longer makes parts for them either, so if it goes you might be lucky and get one of the handfull of parts left in a warehouse somewhere or you are SOL and you have a crappy setup that doesn't do anything.
