Default Bluegrass music

Anyone else listen to it? I've always liked it so I have a decent amount on the iPod. I was listening to some Willie Nelson tonight, the GF complained about it so I thought I'd fix her azz, I found some Seldom Scene and cranked it- she got so mad she went to her parents house!

Yup, def bluegrass is in the mix.
The Dillards, Flatt & Scruggs, Doc Watson, Seldom Scene, Ricky Scaggs, etc.
Highly recomend the dillards if you haven't heard them

Did you guys see Steve Martin play with that Bluegrass band on the Colbert Report the other night? He's a pretty good picker.....and the song was funny as hell too!

I personally wouldn't call him 'blue grass', just old school country. I was enjoying 'Milk Cow Blues' when the woman came down into the basement and complained about ' whinny, twangy music' so I thought I'd re-introduce her to some good ole 'unplugged' picking music!

No but I saw him on PBS at the Grand Ol Opry a couple of months ago. Had no idea he even played and like you said he was decent at minimum.

And the songs were amusing too...

I'm a huge Bela Fleck and the Flecktones fan. that's about it. I'd call them electric blugrass with a funky twist??
