Default Stewart arrested....

Not what he needs right now mid supercross season.

I bet he used the lights to get past them personally and not anything more than that.

If he was just passing them, then how were they able to identify themselves, and how was he able to speed off? Sounds like he pulled them over.

Having those lights on for any reason is impersonating a police officer, and that's what he was arrested for. Not a very smart move.

What is with people impersonating officers lately??

We have had a dozen or so reports around my area in the last month of people doing this. And one of my coworkers (now unemployed) was arrested, locked up for 30 days and sentenced to either 5 years in the military or 10 years jail time because he was caught trying to pull someone over...but he was only using his flashers!!

Do people not realize it is a federal offense??

I used to think Stewart would be the next great face of Supercross and Motocross, like Pastrana was. He was my favorite on the 125/250F's.

But Stewart has turned into nothing more than a rich punk. I hope he crashes every race, cheer every time he does, and I hope he leaves the sport of SX/MX very, very soon. He has no place among the greats like Carmichael, Windham, Reed, Vuillemen, Larocco, Dowd, Henry, Baily, and McGrath.

Me too.. I thought he was the future of supercross and after watching this season I was left with a "what happened?" feeling. Nothing but poor attitude and complaining.

It's too bad. The kid could have had a great future.

I have never liked Stweart, this is kind of an enjoyable story for me, haha.

He will never be as big as McGrath, Carmichael, or Pastranna. Committing crimes just seals the deal, I think its funny. People throw away opportunities like that all the time due to immaturity and stupidity, never had any faith in Stweart, he is a great rider, but not deserving enough to be an Icon of the sport.

The lights don't even have to be red and blue...I knew a guy that wired up some blacklights to his amp so that they would pulse with the bass (dumb I know) but he was pulled the first night he went out with them. The fact he was in a mid 90s explorer on 33" thornyturds didn't attract any less attention either...

After he went undefeated and he his head blew up with all the attention and $$$ he got he really went down after that. Carmicheal and Windham are still my favorite.

The way the news made it seem.

First story-
He/whoever turned the lights on , got behind them an pulled them over.

NOW-
He/whoever turned them on THEN passed the car then proceeded to
the airport , he didn't get behind them like he was pulling them over.

An the OCSO caught up with them at the airport ,

Truck they were in ...

Also , IMO it was a very poor decision on his part to do it/allow it to happen.

At the end of the day , everyone makes mistakes.. this one could just end up
being really really costly.

That when he got pulled over he could say "Hi, I'm James Stewart! I was #1 and I have a tv show"

Too bad the cop was a Dungey fan.

Seriously though... What a dumbass.
He should Charlie Sheen his career. Swear everyone off, make fun of their children, melt faces and assassinate Vaticans... or whatever.
If he does it enough everyone will want him back.
