Default NFS Shift 2

anyone else pick it up yesterday?

i bought it specifically for the drifting (several of us txrcrca crawler guys have started rc drifting together)

its a pretty cool game. graphics, physics etc. i got to driver level 5 last night and unlocked the drifting. its a HUGE improvement over NFS prostreet. pretty real. and pretty hard!
the new helmet cam and night races are unreal SO epic.

NFS hot pursuit killed that series for me. I had to return the game four times for glitching issues and I actually got my money back. It's been like 8 years since then so I should try it again.

Screen shots look good.

yeah the only thing the same is the NFS name. there using new graphics company, new physics engine, pretty much every company and software used to make the old games is someone/thing new.

edit: found video of helmet cam in drift mode

I bought it after seeing one of the trailers on xbox live....I dont like it. The drifting seems blah compared to GRID.

Anyone want it...PM me. $50 shipped to the lower 48. The card inside with the extras has not been activated.

I bought this today, have been messing around for the past hour or so. It's a fun racer, I definitely didn't buy it for the drifting. My S15 Silvia is setup as a decent track car that handles good with a new coilover suspension, brake upgrades and sequential transmission. I found the helmet cam to be the worst view in the game.
