Hi all, Just wanting to find out if anyones got any experience with handling the GSG. I went to the gun shop looking for a Tippman A7paintball marker and ended up getting this instead.. Got the GSG for $340 out the door. . I really wanted the SW MP 1522 but couldn't see myself putting down $600+ for a plinker.. Now the long wait t'ill pickup time...Appreciate your opinions and advices... cheers my gun below |

Thats a good price! GSG's are decent guns. I've shot a few 1911 22lr pistols and like them alot. Haven't shot any of their rifles though.

Nice I have one of the first gens, only shoot plated ammo in it, I run federal 525bulk ammo through it. Do not shoot lead youll jack up the barrel

I have one of the new SD ones (with the larger fake can) and it runs great. Use CCI ammo or Federal, something with a higher fps. I replaced the screws with HK push pins and it made a great difference in how it feels when shooting. Look at RRAGES.com for some decent prices for scopes for plinkers and other stuff. I put an iluminated reflex on mine and it's great. Also I put the Classic Army Collapsable GSG5 Stock on there. Puts you just about 26" 1/4", just over the legal limit for length in California of 26". Have fun. |
