That's pretty stupid... you should be aware of your surroundings when running RC's you could have really hurt that dog.

I agree... I would never run it in a busy street like that... easily could have been a child. Just plain reckless.

yeah your right shouldnt drive in the street where lil kids and dogs should be playing, and i could have hurt the dog really bad but the drunken neighbor should have had the thing on a leash i do feel bad about doing it its not the dogs fault it got hit it is mine but better an rc car instead of some gangster doing 50 in his donk

i didnt hear you hit the breaks, but really from where you are standing in the video you should have seen the dog walking out way before.

Technically you are operating a motor vehicle on a public roadway.

to cool , im gonna take mine out and see what i can hit. and then i want a bunch of people to tell me how wrong i was, because in the video you can clearly see you were aiming for the dog that should of been leashed and not running across a busy street in chicago.

Guess I should have paid more attention to who posted this, I thought those looked like Chicago streets

But yea, I'm kinda wondering why that dog wasn't leashed too.

I'd say that dog is lucky it wasn't a 1:1 that was coming. He'd be roadkill right now.

Oh well, the dog got in the way. If any of you morons raced you would understand the guy didn't mean to hit the dog. You are concentrating on driving, you can't see things like your driving a car. Hell, I've seen drivers hit people on the track when the guy ran across the track. Ease up.

To all you people who feel this is ok... it's not about whether the dog was leashed or not, what if this was the neighbors kid coming out to check out the "toy car" you are playing with. You would look mighty foolish getting sued for hurting someones child. This is about being responsible and knowing what's goin on around you. If you were on a RC track this wouldn't be an issue as it's a closed course. Honestly you are probably not even supposed to operate a RC on a public roadway if it came up. I know everyone does as do I, but it probably isn't legal.

SO you're going to excuse the responsibility of a dog owner or parent for not teaching the kid not to run carelessly into the street or not leash the dog (or in some cases the kid too)?

Both sides need to assume responsibility... the problem here is the attitude that's it's ok because the dog wasn't on a leash. Then post it on the internet because you think it's funny... that's what's wrong!
