| fully running xr10 for $400
i'm new to crawling and thinking about getting my first rig. i found an axial xr10 that has the novak m2dig esc with terra claw motors, team orion 343oz servo, duratrax ice charger with ofna power supply, and i can't remember what radio (it is a 5ch stick type though), the xr10 is only slightly used (supposedly) and all the electronics are brand new never used (supposedly) oh also has a 1300mah lipo, all this for $400, what do y'all think? thanks

well the lhs has a stock in the box on the shelf for $299. that is in kit form without electronics. so it looks like you have a good deal if it's ready to run, and everything works. the electronics that you mentioned are over $100 newI think, so if you can pick it up for $400 I don't see why not.

I would honestly keep looking...for $400 you'll find something nicer. The kits are selling for $199.99 from www.rpphobby.com!!!!

Look here: http://www.rccrawler.com/forum/showt...highlight=xr10 MUCH better electronics...the servo is on the weak side, but the FXR, and punk dig make this a MUCH better deal. |

Ooops...buy a star here... http://www.rccrawler.com/forum/payments.php and then you can view the for sale ads on this forum and most likely find a MUCH better deal than anywhere else you'll shop...not to mention 24/7 support from more people than you can imagine! |

well the 20 in not for everyone. I can see were the kid is coming form if he's not planning on using the site all that much. but I'm an addict to the rc crawling would. so the 20 was nothing to me, then went and spent the $100. after spending thousands in this hobby it wasn't no biggy to me to get the star's. it has saved alot of $ for me, kinda glad I did.

Well, if you go with your local deal, you can still always come on here and ask questions if you need to As far as getting your money back after a year, that may be hard to do, but you could still probably get at least half of what you're planning on spending. But hopefully after a year of crawling with the XR, you'll just want to buy more upgrades and keep having fun with it |
