| New Stomper 4x4 Type Series In Stores Soon
Don't know how many of you remember the little 4x4 vehicles started by Schaper Manufacturing in 1980. They were of course the Stomper 4x4's that ran on one AA battery and had tons of playsets available over the years. One of if not the best toy line ever, and made by several companies over a 20 plus year run. GREAT NEWS, a guy contacted me through my Stomper4X4 website and asked to send me some samples. Of course I said YES!!! and they just arrived. The trucks look to me like they will be a big hit on their own. LOTS of power as they run on 2 AAA batteries. The other cool thing is the playsets they are selling. For those of us lucky enough to own a NANOQLO these sets will be incredible to use with that truck. I am not posting this message to make money as I have nothing to do with any aspect of the new Defiant's Series manufacture. I just wanted to let people know the great news!! | Guess they didn't want to bother with licensing, so they made knockoff bodies. The freewheel option ought to save a lot of broken gears, I know I tried to manually roll my Stompers around as a kid and ruined 1 or 2 of them.

Just looked up Stompers on your site (it's been so long), I remember having a lot more than I thought I had looking at pics, I had one of the track sets, 1 of the Water Demons, a couple of the motorcycles, etc. I wonder if I kept any of them, can't remember?

Hell yeah! I had the tractor pulling set and the climber set. Loved these things. I saw the tractor pull set sell on ebay for $150 recently.

I still have about 12 of my OG's and a nearly complete set of the re-releases in the boxes. I have two that are dual engine pullers. I read an article in a truck pulling magazine back in the 80's on how to build 'em. I'll pass on these new ones.... | |

Those stompers were actually my stepfathers. He had all of them including dozens of afx auroa slot cars but a pipe had burst in his basement in his late teens and ruined much of them. Sorry but none of them are for sale. Eventually I would like to add to the small collection I have...always Wanted the Toyota pick up... |

Has anyone actually seen one at a store? All their links don't show any products, how much are they?
