| Who else wants a Wraith KIT?
Love the Wraith, don't like RTR's. Like being able to install upgrades as I build, and to choose my own colors and electronics. When I talked to Bender he said a kit was "maybe" happening. Let's see if we can persuade Axial to do it! So who's in? |

Im sure if you bought the RTR and sold off all the other stuff you would be ahead on the price of just the axles, because im sure there are alot of people that will buy just the chassis, trans, links, tires wheels. all seperatley! why wait 2-3 months for a kit or just axles when you could have them NOW or soon pending back order. me presonaly id like to have the chassis, and wait to see what problems occure with the wraith... remember the xr10? lol and if you did that, you could sell all them things befor individual parts come out with their own prices... sell the chassis off for $60, when they release parts who knows they could sell it for $40. Not saying its right but people want differant things. I really like the wraith and just waiting to see what its all about.. The axial plastic links throw me off, my honcho only lasted a week with the plastic links, now ad a brushless set up and fast motor, shoot somthings gona give. One, it's a pain in the ass. Two, I have a hard time letting go of anything I think might be useful someday in the future. It's why I have a trash bag full of un-paired tires and about a dozen AM radios

I'd be game for a kit, I do think if they do a kit it should have some upgrade parts like aluminum links and beadlocks wheels.

A kit would be pretty cool, but just the axles would be awesome.

Axles are more or less a proven design. The internals are basically the same as the Axial (different inner axle lengths), so lots of upgrades already available. C's and knuckles are proven XR10 design. Only the casing is "unproven", but I've never had a problem with SCX10 axle cases. Personally, if you're waiting on buying the rtr version to see if there are weak areas that need improving, I think you're wasting your time. Pretty much all the upgrades (mostly drivetrain related) you need are already out there. I know I got all my upgraded parts from rpp ready to go in as soon as I get this rig in my hands. Pretty damn smart of Axial if you ask me.
