What is something unexpected you have found while crawling or scouting a spot?

A hobo, condoms, beer bottles, fishin line, and a rather large (8 ft) gator givin me the evil eye; all in one day under the palm valley bridge. Went fishing later on and caught a 3 ft hammerhead too. Next time I'll bring the camera to try and get some pics.

On a trail run earlier this year I was stalked by a porcupine. Maybe it had the hots for my truck?

We found a bag in the wood, opened it and found some bloody blankets. After that we called the police because there was something in the news that a guy killed his neighbours dog and they couldn't find it.

The bad thing is it was the killed dog, those pics were a long time in my head, looked like the freaks of "Wrong turn" were at work.

Not exactly at the crawl spot but on the way a car was overturned at a hard right turn in almost the middle of nowhere. Bunch of kids all dressed up for something sitting along the road unharmed. Stopped, made sure everybody was out and called the highway patrol for them.

just playing to the stereotype up here in the canada but i bumped into a beaver once. surprisingly territorial. they make a strange hissing/clicking sound. my friend just about stepped on him while trying to take a piss, needless to say he zipped pretty quick and got the hell out of there. other than that the usual, beer cans, condoms, just random pollution from stupid humans. like some people cant clean up after themselves. dont get me wrong i bring beer with me too the woods but i take my emptys back with me, sorry for the rant but really its not that big of an inconvenience.

Just this last Saturday we walked down farther than we should have on the bluffs over Black's Beach and got to see a couple of sunbathing fruitcakes baking their chicken nuts in the sun. Knew it before hand since it is a nude beach, but damn you homos, do that shit farther down the beach or in the closet old school style, not right where the main stairs hit the sand. Fags.
