The really nice tracks invest a lot of money and time keeping them smooth and groomed. The only thing I can think of is that they believe the crawler tires will tear up the track ?

If it was an indoor carpet track, your tires will screw up the traction compound they put on the carpet. Not surprised at all they told you to stop. If it was a different style track, then maybe they could have been more flexible about it. Like others mentioned though, LHS spend lots of time grooming some of the dirt oval tracks as well. |

Have to agree. Recently been doing a lot of work on a dirt oval at my LHS and I get pissed when the Slash guys go out there and just do diff spins on the corners.

Did you get your money back? I would have demanded a refund then. You're still a paying customer. If you pay to drive on the track you should be able to drive on the track. If they don't want anything other than race vehicles then they should post something up so you don't go pay then get asked to leave.

Crawlers and Scalers do not belong on a track. find some rocks or a trail. |

If you can't keep up to the class thats racing you shouldn't be out there. It will cause crashes. There are many tread designs that are banned at my track due to rutting. Racing tires only. My track doesn't like mixing classes at all. Baja 5 trucks are banned awell. If you don't have a race platform or don't fit in a proper class, you shouldn't be on the track. An scx10 might fit into MT class but thats up to the track director. It sure as heck won't keep up so I'd say no. We are a small club and won't really turn you away on an "open practice" day. There is a huge amount of work that goes into track prep. Its really not appreciated enough. Most clubs are private non profit and not a lot of club cash. |

God forbid you put a rut in their "offroad" track and mess up the blue groove. |

Practice is not much fun when every time you come around a corner you have a slow or erratic driver in the way..

| I'm kinda wondering who he was making a fool of with the truck and if somebody was whining about that crawler on the track.
