Is the sky blue or did the government just tell us it was blue? Discuss.

The sky has no color, nor does anything else for that matter. Color is nothing more than a particular wavelength of light reflected back at us.

So no, the sky is not blue.

aqctually its every color but blue as I understand

the color reflected is the one color an object is not.
Though I never did agree with newton on that

I think your talking about specular light scattering. If an object scatters (reflects) all light, it appears white. If it absorbs all light, it appears black.

The sky is black, sunlight reflects off of the 3/4 covered of water earth and reflects back into the sky making it appear blue.

No they don't! If they did they would have discovered the crashed Autobot space craft and used the technology to win WWII.

On another subject, why did Megatron kill Optimus Prime in Transformers 2 if he was going to need him to unlock the hatch in Transformers 3? That wasn't well thought out was it?
