I am an engineer and respect the level of time investment and skill that the fabricators at both shops have. Knowing your limitations, knowing when to bring in an expert, and knowing when you screwed the pooch is all part of life. That being said, I would have bought a chopper from a guy like Jesse James, before I would have purchased a bike, or even worse, a theme bike from a place like OCC. Some of these chopper, and car guys like Boyd Coddington, forgot who their core business was with and how to treat workers. The TV shows allowed these fabricators to become celebritites and raise their talents to a whole new level. Then when the boss started to put pressure on them, they walked. You saw that at Boyd's shop, you've already seen it on American Choppers, and I think you are going to see it again. If Rick, the sheet metal guy at OCC, doesnt' walk or go some where else by the end of the season, I will be suprised. Someone out there is willing to pay more than the old man is at OCC. Just my $.02 worth though.. | |

looks like there coming back in 2019 on the 12th of Feb. i have always been a fan of this show. reason being it was the first TV show to show fabrication(2002), long before we had all the car shows we have today. in the end in turned more into family drama, but i still watched. https://orangecountychoppers.com/?page_id=194 |

I tapped out after the 1st season. Hated the drama and not a big fan of the gimmicky bikes that were built on the show. Hopefully the new season they build real bikes and not art pieces, like this one This looks comfy and a joy to ride more than 5 miles. |
