Default Nitro?

How long does nitro stay good? cuz ive been out of nitro for a while, and just recently got back into it, and ive had a gallon of nitro with only a little bit used, but its been sitting in my basement for...maybe 2 or 3 years, is it still good? it just seems like a waste. I read an article in rc car action that fuel stays good indefinatly if its kept closed. I just dont want to waste a gallon of fuel, so, what do ya say?

I'll bet to say that it's no good... i've been told that it lasts for about a year. Some have had it last a little longer. But 2-3 years, I think it's had it.

Try a tank and see if the engine runs consistently. Otherwise Nitro is a great fire starter...

when i had old nitro sitting around, it would usually run, but it would run rough no matter how i tweaked it. I would mix old and new fuel just to get rid of the old stuff.

If it's in a plastic bottle, it's pretty much garbage for car use, but will start a fire pretty good. If it's in a metal container, it should be fine.

Depends on what brand you use. Monster Horsepower burns blue at the bottom and orange at the top.

Its not worth your time trying. i can tell ya its bad. after about 6 months its bad. Now i MAY run but the fuel will have started to break down and it can ruin a good motor
